SJD works with clients to create
the initial ideas that are then developed into the final design and complete
working drawings. These documents are used for bid, filing with the building
department & construction.
SJD brings in all relevant consultants required in order to complete the project.
SJD also helps the client in the selections of contractors & is involved in onsite supervision during construction. SJD works with you & the contractor to make sure the work gets done as envisioned.
INTERIOR
DESIGN services
SJD works with clients in the selection of fabric, furnishings, lighting & color development. This includes working with the “to the trade showrooms” & designing unique elements that require specialty artists such as wood carvers, metal smiths, faux finishers & stained glass artists.
CUSTOM FURNITURE & CABINETRY
SJD designs one-of-a-kind furniture for the client & the space.
SJD also designs custom cabinets & built-ins specific
to the space.
This includes working with furniture & cabinetmakers, upholsterers & metal
fabricators.
